depends on what you want to use it for many kinds from small wattage to 10,000 watts portable and they get bigger check out home depot I have one its a 50,000 watt 3 phase 240 volt and weights 8,500 pounds on a trailer
Honda and Yamaha….I have the Honda eu2000i runs very quiet…about 16 amps……runs about 8 hrs. on one tank of gas!! Has feature where you can attach another eu2000i later if you need more power in the future and feature to charge batteries directly with 12v cable.

Any diesel genny that has a kuboda engine. You will be happy with how quiet and smooth an 1800 RPM unit is. A 3600 RPM unit will be real noisy.
