Portable Generators

I need a circuit breaker for this model . I’m in the central Georgia area.

It must have the capability to generate a symmetrical sinewave having a peak-to-peak amplitude of at least 5 volts. It has to be capable of delivering this voltage at about 60 KHz frequency.

Sorry if that’s kind of specific, using it for an experiment.

when the oil is changed out i notice the oil having gas mixed in it, after replacing the oil the gen then works fine but after couple of min’s of usage gas still starts to mix into the motor oil side? why is that and what can i do to fix it?

I need to run my tanning bed in my extra bedroom, but my house is too old to power it. Is there a generator that can handle a tannig bed? It needs 220 volts.

Also, which is quieter? which has the least amount of problems?

I would like to get a generator and am also considering investing in some wind-power (urban windmill). I know that the windmill would require an inverter and that most portable generators have inverters in them. Is there any generator that would accept DC input and transform it into AC?

Why there’s petrol (gasoline) in the air filter (foam type) compartment (box) of my portable generator ?

Is it a normal thing ?

I just lift the generator to change the engine oil …. might it be the reason that the petrol came into the air filter box ?

Most of the time when I start my 1995 Ex1000 generator, it will run a couple minutes then stop. After that, fuel pulses from a tube that comes from the top of the carburetor. What is wrong? How can I fix this?

How to clean the Foam Air Filter of my portable generator for my home ?

Generator’ manual says clean it with an agent . It doesn’t explain what agent .

So, what chemical or agent should i use to clean it properly ?

Kindly, explain the whole procedure . What about the oil that is saturated in the foam air filter ?

I understand the two hot leads, but the ground and the common are tied together in the generator and in your home wiring, so why the redundant 4th wire?

What would be the cheapest best choice to feed electricity to a 120w guit amp, a 100w bass amp and a 200w mixer???

Most 230 volt portable generators have a 4 wires plugs (two hots, a ground and a neutal). My question is since these same generators have the neutral and ground bonded together (same as home wiring) why are the seperate conductors needed?

where did the extra power go, if its putting out 3600 watts 120v x 30a), why does it only put out 120watts under its dc output 12v x 10a

The portable generator has only 2 outlets, but I have 6 different plugs. If I put one of those multiple plug outlet devices on the generator plug outlets so each generator plug outlet now has three outlets, will that be ok wtih 3 x 500 watts per each generator outlet?

The unit is only putting out about 3.5 volts. The breakers and connections are all good. I’m being told that the rotor is bad. How do you test this? But I was also told that there is a thermistor that may be bad. Where is this located? It’s a Generac 5550 watt generator. Hmmm?

What would happen if i leave the choke open after starting the generator (portable home generator) ?

What would be the disadvantage of doing this ?
